As the session comes to an end, need us not forget to thank our staff—our friends—for all of the help they gave us these past three months in the General Assembly. I would not have been able to accomplish nearly as much as I had this year without the assistance of my great and always positive team. First and foremost, I would like to extend a warm thanks to my chief of staff, Ryan, who assisted me with my legislation and kept me in touch with the daily on goings of the office. I would also like to thank Melissa, my assistant, for maintaining my busy calendar and for keeping me organized during session.
The end of session is bittersweet as I must say goodbye to my two new interns this year, Dante and Emily. Dante was a huge help as he worked rigorously in assisting Ryan with legislative research. He was also eager to lend a hand with any day to day office tasks that needed to be accomplished. My press and media intern, Emily, worked primarily out of my district office and was responsible for bringing my social media outlets to date as well as connecting me to my constituents daily.
During the interim, I will continue to work hard in order to make Frederick and the rest of Maryland a better community to live in. Ryan and Melissa will continue to work with me out of my district office in Frederick. And for my interns who are leaving, I wish them the best of luck with all of their future endeavors.
