Thank you for visiting my website.  As a member of the Maryland Senate, I am in a unique position to help shape statewide policy while working to make sure that Frederick and Washington Counties continue to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

I am a member of the Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs committee, and I believe that our most important State investment is K – 12 education.  Education Week ranked our public school system the best in the nation, test scores are climbing, and we are closing the achievement gap. Our schools make Maryland an attractive place to live and do business.
